Thanks for sharing. Consequences imho are problematic and could easily cause a power struggle . The assumption is the problem is motivation and not ' competence ' or the agreed solution does not meet the kids concerns if if the kid did agree to them. It could mean that the solution was not the best solution and teen and parent need to go back to the drawing board - not easy
